The flight ban will remain in effect until August 8

The Russian Ministry of Defense has closed the airspace over the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, according to a NOTAM (NOtice To Air Missions) notification.

According to open sources, the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) was launched from Kapustin Yar.
