"There are no cars available at dealers": new details about the upcoming release of Lada Iskra SW Cross

AvtoVAZ is preparing to release a new car, but, according to insiders, only a few hundred units have been assembled

The new LADA Iskra SW Cross is currently only available in limited quantities. According to insiders, only a few hundred units have been assembled at the factory, and mass production will not begin until March-April 2026.

The car received galvanized body panels, a reinforced rear beam and subframe. Handling is better than the LADA Granta, but the price intersects with the Granta and Vesta. The design, developed with the participation of Renault, looks outdated, and the build quality and components are questionable.

Lada Iskra SW Cross. The car is solid, the handling is better than the «Granta». [...] There are no cars available at dealers, except for presentation ones, there are only a few hundred of them at the factory, this certainly does not qualify as industrial production from April 19, there are still a lot of assembly defects, they are driven from section to section, refined. And the quality of the components leaves much to be desired.
