«Квоты под киль» разбились об действительность: расторгнуты договоры на строительство 16 судов

Instead of 107 Vessels, 91 Will Be Built

Fishing companies have decided to terminate investment contracts for the construction of 16 vessels ordered at Russian shipyards under the first phase of the federal program "quotas under keel." As a result, instead of the planned 107 vessels, only 90–91 vessels will be built on time.

Part of the terminated quotas will be redistributed at auctions. This will allow new customers to complete the construction of the vessels. This development was predictable, and the main factors were the difficult macroeconomic situation and the high key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, which makes loans less accessible. In addition, the Western sanctions policy has complicated the process of acquiring the necessary components and parts for construction.

The "quotas under keel" program aims to modernize the Russian fishing fleet by providing domestic companies with investment quotas for catching aquatic biological resources in exchange for obligations to build new vessels at Russian shipyards.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the rules for the transfer of unfinished crab vessels have been changed in Russia.
