The Ural Automobile Plant has initiated a recall of 2,626 Ural NEXT trucks sold in Russia from 2022 to 2024. The reason for the recall was the absence of the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system, which is mandatory for vehicles in Russia.
All recalled vehicles will have ERA-GLONASS devices installed free of charge, followed by activation. The plant will notify owners of the need to deliver the trucks to official dealerships for work to be carried out.
Ural guarantees that all retrofitting procedures will be carried out at the company's expense. The recall campaign is aimed at ensuring that vehicles comply with safety requirements and legislation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the one and a half millionth Ural Next truck was produced at the plant in Miass.
