Small-sized missiles are primarily intended for destroying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and engaging the combat elements of high-precision weapons.

The TKB-1055 is inferior to standard ammunition in range, but is more maneuverable. The missiles are part of the armament of the "Pantsir-SMD", "Pantsir-M" and "Pantsir-SM" complexes. The TKB-1055 missile is equipped with a powder booster that separates in flight with a lightweight body made of composite materials.

The engine is located on the booster stage, after its separation the product flies by inertia. The maximum speed of attacked air targets is 1000 m/s, the maximum speed of the SAM is 820 m/s.

Earlier www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
