The Preobrazhensky Court of Moscow has recognized as illegal the dismissal of an employee of the "Alisa" company, whose duties were transferred to artificial intelligence.
The court partially satisfied the claim: the dismissal order was canceled, Rozhnova was reinstated as a category manager in the procurement department. In addition, the company is obliged to pay her compensation for forced absence, delay in salary, and moral damage.
According to the case materials, in 2024, the company introduced neural technologies that allowed automating most of the functions of a category manager. Rozhnova was offered to switch to a shortened working day with a decrease in salary, but she refused. After that, her employment contract was terminated.
Alisa stated that the real reason for the dismissal was violations of labor discipline. The court did not accept these arguments and sided with the plaintiff.
