Footage of another Russian kamikaze drone with a solar panel, which allows the device to be used for ambushes, has appeared online. The Telegram channel "Military Informant" drew attention to the footage.
The photographs show a "waiting drone" with a solar panel that was landed on a water tower. It can be assumed that this is the highest point in the area of operation of the quadcopter.
Solar panels are used on the drone to power equipment in standby mode. The technology compensates for the discharge of the drone while waiting for a target in enemy territory.
FPV drones with solar panels allow for long-term surveillance while remaining in standby mode.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the flagship of the Russian Navy, the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov", may be scrapped.
