On the ship, the flight crew practices skills when landing and taking off Ka-52, Ka-27/29/31 helicopters from aircraft-carrying ships.

The full displacement of "Nikolai Kamov" is 842 tons, length is 66.9 m, width is 12.7 m, draft is 2.1 m.

The full speed of the vessel is 12 knots, autonomy in terms of food and fresh water reserves is 2 days, cruising range with a full supply of fuel is 500 miles.

Also, the ship has everything necessary for training crews of shipborne helicopters for flights and landing in various conditions. Difficulties are simulated using a number of special devices.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the flagship of the Russian Navy, the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov", may be scrapped.
