765 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction of Russian aircraft. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting on the aviation industry.
According to him, airports are being actively built in Russia, and airfield infrastructure is being modernized, which contributes to the expansion of the air network.
To ensure the independence of Russian civil aviation, a specialized federal project for the production of airplanes and helicopters has been formed. A total of 765 billion rubles are planned to be allocated from the federal budget for its implementation over six years. First of all, for the creation of aircraft, competitive engines, technical systems and a list of high-tech equipment.
The Rostec State Corporation plans to produce more than 500 aircraft by 2030, including 270 MS-21 aircraft, 142 Superjet aircraft and 115 Tu-214, said Sergey Chemezov, head of the state corporation, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
