Serial production of new Il-114-300 aircraft will help solve the problem of shortage of civil aircraft for regional air transportation. This was announced by transport expert Dmitry Adamidov.
But their potential should be considered more broadly. Il-114-300 aircraft may be in demand, for example, in third world countries — the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East.
Managing Director of "Air Transport Review" magazine, Maxim Pyadushkin, noted that the industry intends to significantly update the civil aviation fleet by 2030, releasing more than a thousand aircraft.
The comprehensive industry development program envisages the production of 51 Il-114-300 aircraft.
Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK will sharply increase the production of aircraft engines.
