Heavy Amphibious Drone "Meridian" Mockup Shown at "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg

The drone can carry loads up to 700 kg and land on water

The Russian company "Center for Autonomous Robotic Systems" (JSC "CARS") brought a mockup of the heavy amphibious drone "Meridian" to the industrial exhibition "Innoprom-2025", which started in Yekaterinburg on July 7.

Mockup of the "Meridian" drone

"Meridian" lifts loads up to 700 kg into the air. The drone can be used in the absence of runways, landing on water is possible. The project is currently in the stage of experimental design work.

A representative of the "Center for Autonomous Robotic Systems" said that the amphibious drone is designed for transporting medicines, equipment to remote areas, and monitoring ice conditions.

The amphibious design of the unmanned system is optimal. It will reduce the costs of logistics, maintenance and operation of traditional means of transport.
