In June 2025, the Kaiyi and Xcite brands entered the top 15 most popular new cars in Russia. But Lada retains market leadership with a 27% share — 24.2 thousand cars were sold. Although sales fell by 5% over the past month (-29% per year).
Haval remains the leader among Chinese brands, accounting for 10% of the market with sales of 9.2 thousand cars. However, it is worth noting that sales of this brand decreased by 14% over the past month, and by 40% over the year.
Seven Chinese brands were among the top ten best-selling cars. Among them are Chery (10%, 8.9 thousand units), Changan (7%, 6.4 thousand units) and Geely (7%, 6.2 thousand units). Belgee also made it to the list, which showed impressive growth: sales increased by 13% per month, and by 26% per year.
A total of 90.1 thousand new passenger cars were sold. This is 28% less than in June last year, and 1% less than in May.
Sales of some brands have increased. Among the growth leaders: Kaiyi (+99%, 1.3 thousand units), Xcite (2.9 times, 1.6 thousand units), Solaris (+56%, 2.2 thousand units) and Toyota (+94%, 1.8 thousand units).
