The vessel of project 04580 was built under a program with state funding

The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) has accepted the Fort Obruchev catamaran of project 04580, built at the St. Petersburg Shipyard (SNSZ) under a program with state funding. The vessel became the fifth in a series of six Kotlin high-speed passenger catamarans. This was reported by the company's press service.

The vessel was built at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard (part of USC) in St. Petersburg as part of the GTLK program for the development of water transport leasing with state funding, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

The catamaran was designed in Russia using predominantly domestic components. These vessels, with a capacity of up to 200 people, are designed to serve the passenger line between the center of St. Petersburg and the tourist and recreational cluster "Island of Forts". The "Kotlin" project is aimed at developing water transport and improving the accessibility of tourist sites in the region.
