The testing program for the import-substituted SJ-100 with PD-8 was only 50% completed

UAC plans to complete certification by the end of the year and begin deliveries from 2026

In June 2025, the fully import-substituted SJ-100 "Superjet" with tail number 97003 flew from the assembly plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow.

There, the aircraft joined two other prototypes – 97001 and 95157, where it will soon join certification flight tests. Considering ground tests, the certification program for the aircraft has been half completed.

Since August 2023, the import-substituted "Superjets" have performed more than 100 flights, including about 60 flights for certification tests, noted General Designer Kirill Kuznetsov.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to complete certification by the end of the year and begin deliveries from 2026. 23 aircraft are already in a high degree of readiness in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Irkutsk Aviation Plant has radically updated the electrical systems of the Yak-130M.
