Безэкипажные катера для выявления нарушений на воде построит KMZ

Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant is creating a water alternative to road cameras

The military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ) will begin construction of unmanned boats for city administrations and Rostransnadzor.

Such boats will be used to monitor and detect violations in water areas. This is not just about unmanned vessels, but about a digital control system similar to road cameras, but operating on the water.

The boats will be able to automatically track the registration numbers of various vessels — from boats to small vessels — and transmit data to central posts. This eliminates the need to pursue violators on the water: information is recorded and transmitted remotely using technical means.

KMZ traditionally fulfills state defense orders and produces boats for Russian law enforcement agencies. The company's products include RX-1173, RPK-640, PK-1200 boats, as well as environmental vessels of project 30350.
