Ambulances in the Belgorod Region are being equipped with protective grids, known as "barbecue grills." These are intended to protect the vehicles from drone attacks, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
We are starting to equip our ambulances following the example of agricultural machinery — with protective "barbecue grills" against drone strikes. We are looking for all possible ways to protect our medics.
Additionally, to enhance the safety of emergency services, special drone detectors and electronic warfare systems will be installed in the vehicles. Gladkov noted that protecting ambulance personnel has become a priority, emphasizing that their work is critical for saving the lives of the injured and sick.
