Более половины россиян мечтают о беспилотнике, который будет провожать детей в школу

Russian Residents Also Want Drones to Deliver Groceries and Water Seedlings at Their Dacha

More than half of Russians are not against a drone escorting a child to school or kindergarten, according to Alexey Raikevich, Head of JSC GLONASS.

Answering the question, "If you had a personal aerial drone or rover, how would you use it?", 55% of Russian residents would like it to accompany and monitor the safety of their child on the way to kindergarten, school, or on the playground.

He emphasized that these results were obtained during a study conducted jointly with the "Platform of the National Technology Initiative" before the SPIEF. The survey involved more than 2,000 adult Russians and experts in the field of unmanned transport.

Russians see drones not only as escorts for children, but also as assistants in delivering groceries on time, without unnecessary calls from couriers. This was the response of 12% of respondents. Another 10% are ready to entrust them with walking the dog, and the same number would like to use them for remote monitoring and watering seedlings at their dacha.

Another 8% of respondents expressed a desire to send parcels and gifts using drones, and 5% want to use this technology to create videos during travel, recreation, and sports.

Earlier it was reported that about a third of Russians wanted robots with artificial intelligence to do housework and free them from many household chores.
