How do astronauts shave in space?: You can't do without a vacuum cleaner

Cosmonaut Alexey Zubritsky spoke about how hygiene is maintained on the ISS

Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexey Zubritsky shared the nuances of shaving in zero gravity on the International Space Station (ISS).

How to shave in zero gravity? There are two ways: using a razor and using a shaver. I choose a shaver, as the razor quickly becomes clogged.
 Alexey Zubritsky, Roscosmos cosmonaut

According to him, for this procedure, you can use both an electric shaver and a razor, but in both cases it is necessary to clean the device with a vacuum cleaner, since there is no tap for rinsing at the station.

Cosmonaut Zubritsky, along with colleagues - cosmonaut Sergei Ryzhikov and NASA astronaut Johnny Kim, arrived at the ISS on April 8 aboard the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft. Their experience at the station highlights the unique living and working conditions in space.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Roscosmos had completed the sealing of the transfer chamber of the Zvezda module on the ISS.
