The latest laser weapons that hit drones will become part of Russia's universal air defense system in the future. This was stated in the press service of the Cabinet.
Technological solutions will later become one of the components of the universal air defense system, the need for which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Правительство РФ Russia previously tested advanced laser systems to counter drones, and showed them on video. The footage shows drones of various types being hit in the air, after which they fall.
Putin stated that the new state armaments program should ensure the formation of a universal air defense system that can operate in any environment and effectively engage air attack weapons regardless of their type.
