Scientists from the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University (NSAU) have developed a line of food products to support health in the summer. During this period, the body needs a high-quality diet with functional products that not only provide energy, but also contain beneficial substances.
Meat bars with a high protein and low fat content have been created, including sprouted grains and ursolic acid with an anti-inflammatory effect, which is especially useful for athletes and active people. Acidophilic cottage cheese and whey-based drinks with microgreens are also recommended - they are rich in vitamins and amino acids and stay fresh.
Using biotechnologies, scientists process non-traditional raw materials - small fish, sprouted grains and vegetables - creating products rich in protein, fiber and microelements, for example, fish products with pumpkin and whole grain mixture, covering a significant part of the daily requirement of phosphorus and iron.
Hypoallergenic meat and vegetable canned food with kiwano and benincase, easily digestible and rich in vitamins, has been developed for children. For the elderly - dairy and meat products with natural triterpenoid additives that improve metabolism and immunity.
Low-calorie ice cream with kiwano and benincase has also been created, supplemented with coniferous paste and fulvogumate to improve taste and texture. The use of local berries, herbs and coniferous components reduces the cost and supports sustainable development of the region.
Scientists emphasize that proper nutrition plays a key role in health: up to 80% of diseases are related to diet, and modern functional products help prevent chronic diseases.
