Rossiya Airlines will switch to operating only advanced medium-range domestic MC-21 aircraft. This was announced by the General Director of the Aeroflot Group, Sergei Alexandrovsky.
According to him, as the company's fleet is replaced, it is planned to switch to operating only medium-range aircraft. Currently, Rossiya also operates long-range aircraft.
We plan that only MC-21 aircraft in the "economy" and "comfort" class configuration will be operated, currently there is also a business class.
MC-21 is a domestic medium-range passenger aircraft of a new generation. The import-substituted aircraft is assembled at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant.
Earlier www1.ru reported that MC-21, SJ-100 and Tu-214 will not be left without work: airlines were offered to be obliged to buy Russian aircraft.
