The specialized national project "Space" is ready. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. The head of state stressed that Russia is proud of its achievements in space and intends to build long-term plans in this area.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov said that the national project has passed all the necessary approvals and is ready for implementation. The total amount of its budget funding is 4.5 trillion rubles. The implementation of the national project is scheduled until 2036.
It includes eight federal initiatives covering the creation of a new orbital station, the exploration of the solar system, and the launch of a market model for the presentation of remote sensing data (ERS) from 2026.
The General Director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, said that the Ministry of Finance has approved funding for the national project, which includes the development of a returnable stage, the creation of a low-orbit broadband access group, Earth remote sensing satellites and a domestic orbital station.
