There are currently no grounds for a full-fledged return to the Treaty on the Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms (START). This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Ryabkov.
According to him, such a scenario is becoming less and less realistic.
Given that the treaty completes its life cycle in approximately eight months, the conversation about the realism of such a scenario is increasingly losing its meaning.
Analysts from the "Military Review" publication explained why the strategic aviation of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia is not located in concrete shelters at military airfields, butis based in the open air.
