Дешёвая психологическая помощь и круглосуточные консультации: чат-боты помогут россиянам справиться с тревогой

About 70% of surveyed patients don't mind chatting with an AI-based psychologist

AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT, will be able to help people cope with anxiety. This was announced by Marina Dorokhova, director of the consulting company "Yakov and Partners", during the international conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR).

We have developed an AI assistant together with Medsi, and specifically a psychologist who is currently helping us work with such an emotion as anxiety. In general, he has more than 60 different mechanics and tools that help a person cope with this in chatbot mode and communication.

According to a study by Yakov and Partners, 70% of Medsi clinic patients expressed a desire to communicate with a psychologist based on artificial intelligence. Among the advantages of AI psychologists, the expert noted the availability of quality care at a low price and the ability to receive consultations around the clock.

Whether everyone will switch to AI psychologists is a question. Experienced specialists will remain on the market and continue to work, Dorokhova is sure. But AI can be a useful tool, especially in critical situations.

Earlier, Russian researchers developed artificial intelligence, which predicts students' academic performance based on their activity on social networks with an accuracy of up to 88%. Scientists studied the data using the BERT neural network. This tool helped to understand what students are talking about in their groups and communities. The interests of young people were divided into several main categories, and then the data obtained were analyzed using various classification models.
