The Russian Navy will receive the newest large landing ship (BDK) "Vladimir Andreev" of Project 11711M. This was announced by the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, Alexey Besprozvannykh.
Thanks to the team of the Baltic Shipyard "Yantar" for their tremendous work. The Russian Navy has been replenished with another modern and powerful ship.
Presumably, the BDK "Vladimir Andreev" will join the Pacific Fleet.
The BDK will be armed with two 30-mm six-barreled AK-630 artillery mounts and one twin AK-630M-2. A Ka-29 transport-combat helicopter or a Ka-27 search and rescue helicopter is based on the deck.
The General Director of the plant, Ilya Samarin, clarified that "Vladimir Andreev" will finally join the Navy in 2026.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian guided aerial bombs deviate from the aiming point by only one meter.
