Lukyanovich noted that in military-technical cooperation with Russia, a phased planned modernization and renewal of the fleet of weapons, military and special equipment is underway.

The Mi-35M helicopter is protected by armor, including from small-caliber artillery shells, which makes it one of the most survivable machines in its class. Due to the combined characteristics of speed, armor and firepower, pilots call the Mi-35 flying infantry fighting vehicle (IFV).

The Mi-35M is equipped with a modern electronic display and navigation system, a sighting system with television and thermal imaging channels, a direction finder and a laser rangefinder.
