Attackers may call potential victims, posing as representatives of financial intelligence. They ask to transfer all funds to a special account for storage, said Alla Khrapunova, an expert at the "People's Front. Analytics" direction.
Victims are called by scammers who introduce themselves as employees, including those of financial intelligence.
In the conversation, fraudsters convince people that they can help save their money. To do this, they ask to withdraw all funds and transfer them to an alleged employee of the department.
Khrapunova reminded that financial intelligence does not work with individuals. A safe account also does not exist, she stressed. Employees of the department will not meet with citizens and accept money for storage under any circumstances.
Earlier, scammers began using a new way to deceive Russians. They call people and, posing as polyclinic workers, offer to switch to an "electronic medical record." In this way, they gain access to accounts on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
