Сделано в России: для самолетов МС-21 и SJ-100 разработали новые авиационные шины

The first tire sample is scheduled for production in 2025

YASHZ Avia (part of the Altai Tire Plant, ASHK) has successfully completed qualification tests for compliance with the requirements of Russian aircraft tubeless tires for the front and main landing gear struts of domestic MC-21 aircraft and the main landing gear struts for RRJ-95 aircraft (Sukhoi Superjet 100 family).

Initial tests in 2023 made it possible to adjust the RCD of tires at the initial stage of development for the front and main tires for the MC-21 aircraft. This made it possible in 2025 to obtain a positive result in qualification tests on the first try.

The positive test result brings YASHZ Avia to a new stage in the tire certification process. After receiving a certificate of airworthiness for the developed standard sizes of tires 1050x385R482 mod. 1A, 770x240R-356 mod. 1A and 1260x450 R-559 mod. 1A, the company will be able to start mass production.

The plant has also begun an initiative to develop a tire for the front landing gear strut for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 family of aircraft. The first tire sample is scheduled for production in 2025.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Superjet SJ-100 tested a new mode of PD-8 aircraft engines at minimum speed for the first time.
