Footage of the frigate of project 1155.1 "Admiral Chabanenko" after dock repair has appeared online. The warship should return to the Northern Fleet in 2025.
The ship's dock repair has already been completed. Next, the "Admiral Chabanenko" will be equipped with the latest weapons - it will be equipped with universal vertical launchers for missiles of the "Caliber", "Onyx" and "Zircon" complexes, as well as a universal artillery installation A-190 caliber 100 mm.
According to previous plans, the "Admiral Chabanenko" was planned to be returned to the fleet in 2023. The delay was due to cardinal changes in the radio-electronic and missile weapons of the ship, which required additional work.
The "Admiral Chabanenko" BOD initially carried Moskit anti-ship missiles. The ship's arsenal also included the Kinzhal anti-aircraft missile system and the Kortik missile and artillery system.
The same type of BOD "Marshal Shaposhnikov" after modernization received the 3S14 complex, which allows launching "Caliber", "Onyx" and "Zircon" missiles, as well as launchers for launching "Uran" missiles.
