The Ulyanovsk enterprise "Il-Aviastar" (part of the United Aircraft Corporation) has been tasked with significantly increasing aircraft production, as stated by Governor Alexei Russkikh at a meeting with the company's head, Sergei Sheremetov.
Currently, the aircraft builders face new tasks: constructing the heavy transport aircraft Il-76-MD-90A, cooperating in the production of the latest MS-21 aircraft, and assisting in the creation of the passenger aircraft Il-114-300.
Ulyanovsk Oblast is an aircraft-building region. Our flagship, the "Aviastar" plant, faces significant tasks. The key one is a multiple increase in aircraft production. The government will continue to pay close attention to the enterprise, which employs over 12,000 people.
