New Production Facilities to Be Built in Russia to Increase Su-57 Fighter Production

The fighter will carry long-range R-77-1 and R-37M missiles on its pylons

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) is modernizing existing facilities and building new production facilities to increase the production of fifth-generation Su-57 multirole fighters.

The MAKS air show noted that UAC is currently actively building new batches of Su-57s, as well as Su-35S and Su-34 bombers.

Deliveries of combat aircraft are on schedule, and enterprises are confidently fulfilling the state defense order. The Su-57 fighter is a technological flagship with low visibility, supersonic cruising speed and internal weapons, including R-77-1 and R-37M missiles with a range of up to 110 and 160 km, respectively.

Major General of Aviation Sergei Lipovoy stated that the new fifth-generation Su-57 fighter may also be shown in the air part of the Victory Parade on May 9 on Red Square, but the debut never took place.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the characteristics of the ZA-SpN Titan armored vehicle shown at the parade in Moscow became known.
