The Russian manufacturer of special equipment "Intechros" has presented the "ROIN A80" tracked robot for the mining industry. This was reported by the company's press service.
In "Intechros", the approach to the robot's actuators has been completely revised — hydraulic cylinders have been replaced with rotary actuators. This allows achieving 20% more accuracy and smoothness of movement.
"ROIN A80" is suitable for working in tunnels, narrow corridors, and converters. It destroys rock by chipping. The robot has attachments: a universal grab, a circular saw, a hydraulic drill, and a hydraulic hammer.
Characteristics of the "ROIN A80" robot:

- Hybrid drive — electric / ICE
- Five FullHD cameras with 360° coverage
- Available in radiation-resistant and explosion-proof versions
- Operates in -40°С to +80°С and at humidity up to 80%
- A hydraulic quick-release attachment is located on the head of the boom
