Production of Lada Niva at AvtoVAZ's plant in Togliatti has been paused for a week due to disruptions in the supply of components from Balakovo. This was reported by the insider public "Avtograd."
The "Avtokomponent Balakovo" enterprise from Saratov, which supplies stamped parts and body panels, was unable to meet the shipment schedule, which led to a complete halt of the assembly line.
From May 12, 2025, AvtoVAZ resumed car production at its plants in Izhevsk and Togliatti after a corporate holiday that began on April 30.
Earlier, www1.ru wrote that the assembly of Lada Granta will be moved to the Lada Niva line to free up capacity for the production of Lada Iskra.
