Mysterious parking lot with hundreds of military ZIL-131s found in the USA: enough for a small army

The parking lot was located on the southern coast of the USA near the Gulfport resort

A huge parking lot of Soviet military ZILs, enough to create a small army, was accidentally spotted in satellite images of the United States. This was reported by motor.ru.

The parking lot was located on the southern coast of the USA near the resort town of Gulfport and consisted of hundreds of ZIL-131 trucks that once served in the army of the Soviet bloc.

ZIL-131 is a military vehicle. It was in service with the army of the Soviet Union. This car has high cross-country ability and was designed for driving in the absence of roads.

The car has a low center of gravity, and the engine hides huge reserves of power. It can develop a power of 115 hp. It is thanks to this engine that the ZIL-131 boldly drives on a flat highway at speeds up to 90 km/h, climbs slopes up to 30 degrees, and overcomes shallow rivers and fords.

In the ZIL-131 of the USSR and the Cold War era, Soviet engineers provided many interesting things. For example, if the kung door is opened, the light in it automatically turns off and a night light turns on, so that the soldiers do not inadvertently reveal their location at night.
