«Уралвагонзавод» объяснил появление Т-90М, Т-72Б3М и Т-80БВМ без «мангалов» и РЭБ в центре Москвы

The tanks that performed at the Victory Parade will be re-equipped and sent to the troops

T-90M "Proryv", T-72B3M and T-80BVM tanks, which performed at the Victory Parade on Red Square, will be equipped with additional protection kits and sent to regular troops. This was announced by Alexander Potapov, General Director of Uralvagonzavod Concern (part of the Rostec State Corporation).

According to him, the main efforts of the concern's enterprises are now aimed at providing the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with modern armored vehicles, without which successful work on the battlefield is impossible.

It was decided that the combat vehicles would appear at the parade in Moscow in a more familiar form — without additional protection kits, which are equipped with equipment for participation in combat operations. However, all new UVZ-produced tanks serially receive electronic warfare systems and anti-drone structures.
