The military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War concluded with an aviation flypast over Red Square in Moscow.
A total of 11,500 military personnel took part in the solemn event.
Before the aviation flypast, parade formations marched across Red Square, including participants in the special operation. Following this, military equipment passed through, including T-80BVM, T-72B3M, T-90M tanks and other armored vehicles, Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems, S-400 air defense systems, Yars mobile ground missile systems, and KamAZ trucks with Geran and Lancet drones.
In the aviation part of the parade, the "Kubinka Diamond" formation was shown — a joint flypast by the "Russian Knights" and "Swifts" aerobatic teams on five Su-30SM fighters and four MiG-29s at a minimal distance from each other.
The parade concluded with a flypast of six Su-25 attack aircraft, which painted the sky over Moscow in the colors of the Russian tricolor.
The parade also announced the 7th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems Troops, the plans for the formation of which were announced back in December 2024. It was they who marched across Red Square with the Harpy-A1, Geran-2, Orlan-10, Orlan-30 and Lancet drones in the "Product-51" and "Product-52" versions.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian BEC "Katran" will begin launching Skvorets-VMF kamikaze drones.
