The latest self-propelled artillery units (SPGs) on wheeled chassis "Hyacinth-K" and "Malva" can increase the efficiency of artillery units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The advantages of the installations were named by military expert Dmitry Kornev.
According to him, "Hyacinth-K" and "Malva" are among the most modern wheeled units.
The wheeled "Hyacinth-K" can be mass-produced. Such installations are more mobile and practical to operate than tracked ones, all this together increases the efficiency of the artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces.
The "Malva" SPG is equipped with a four-axle BAZ-6910-027 "Voshchina" chassis and a 152-mm 2A64 howitzer, identical to the gun of the tracked "Msta-S" unit.
The "Hyacinth-K" carries the artillery part of the towed gun "Hyacinth-B" of 152-mm caliber on the same chassis.
