From 2025, the modernized fifth-generation Su-57M multirole fighters will be coated with a new special coating with improved characteristics. The technology will reduce the radar signature of the Russian aircraft by another 30%.
Experts believe that the Su-57 stealth fighter differs in stealth from American and Chinese projects.
It is noted that the Russian Su-57 has better RCS indicators in the forward hemisphere compared to the J-20, and its radar signature is comparable to a soccer ball.
The head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Vadim Badeha, emphasized that the Su-57 fighter has the world's best characteristics of supersonic range, flight duration, and supersonic maneuverability, which is provided by a low-observable adjustable air intake.
