New Information Emerges About Secret Russian Cruise Missile "Banderol": Almost Impossible to Shoot Down

The ramjet-powered munition operates in groups, flies at low altitudes, and reaches speeds of up to 500 km/h

A new ramjet-powered tactical kamikaze drone or cruise missile called "Banderol" is capable of striking defense industry facilities, warehouses, and command centers, operating in groups. This was reported by the founder of the unmanned aviation training center, Maxim Kondratyev.

New cruise missile "Banderol" (unofficial name)

Currently, the characteristics of the drone are kept top secret, but it is known that "Banderol" is equipped with a ramjet engine and can accelerate to 500 km/h.

The ramjet-powered drone flies at low altitudes and reaches speeds of up to 500 km/h, making it virtually invulnerable to existing methods of combat. It is impossible to catch up with it on a Yak-52 and shoot it down, or hit it with small arms fire from the ground.
Maxim Kondratyev, military expert

The missile differs from all known Russian developments, including "Onyx" and "Caliber", and therefore may have components typical of ramjet UAVs.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that a Russian Aerospace Forces fighter intercepted a US B-1B Lancer strategic bomber.
