The developer of the domestic MC-21 aircraft, the "Yakovlev" company (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec), will complete certification tests of the aircraft in the summer of 2026, according to Anatoly Gaidansky, Deputy General Director of PJSC "Yakovlev".
According to him, there will be about 220-230 actual flights. The tests on two aircraft will be completed in about a year.
That is, we plan to complete the flight program somewhere by the middle of next year and receive the main change for the OGI (main change approval) closer to the end of the summer, so that these aircraft can go further to the airlines.
