"Modern Transport Technologies" (the official distributor of GAZ) has launched sales of the new "Valdai 18" truck.
The new model is the "younger brother" of the Valdai 45. The vehicle weighs 18 tons, and its carrying capacity is up to 12.2 tons.
The Valdai 18 is equipped with a 6.7-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 261 hp paired with an 8-speed gearbox. The car is available with three wheelbase options: 4800, 5750 and 6100 mm. Various superstructures are also available: isothermal vans, refrigerators and flatbed vehicles with a crane-manipulator unit (CMU).
The basic equipment of the Valdai 18 includes a rear air suspension, a 450-liter fuel tank, cruise control, air conditioning, an autonomous heater, a sleeping place and a sprung driver's seat.
The production of Valdai 18 is carried out in a full cycle, including welding, painting and assembly. The cab and frame are protected from corrosion by cataphoretic priming. The car comes with a 3-year warranty without mileage restrictions.
