"Modern Transport Technologies" (the official distributor of GAZ) has launched sales of the new "Valdai 18" truck.
The new model is the "younger brother" of the Valdai 45 mainline truck. The vehicle weighs 18 tons and has a payload capacity of up to 12.2 tons.
The Valdai 18 is equipped with a 6.7-liter diesel engine producing 261 hp, paired with an 8-speed gearbox. The vehicle is available with three wheelbase options: 4800, 5750, and 6100 mm. Various superstructures are also available, including isothermal vans, refrigerators, and flatbed trucks with a crane-manipulator unit (CMU).
The basic configuration of the Valdai 18 includes rear air suspension, a 450-liter fuel tank, cruise control, air conditioning, an autonomous heater, a sleeping berth, and an air-suspended driver's seat.
The Valdai 18 is manufactured using a full cycle, including welding, painting, and assembly. The cab and frame are protected from corrosion by cataphoretic priming. The vehicle comes with a 3-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
