Photos of a promising Russian cruise missile with an unknown index have appeared online. Military analyst Evgeny Damantsev revealed the alleged characteristics of the ammunition.
According to him, the product was designed with an emphasis on achieving a small effective reflecting surface — within 0.03 m² in the X-band of waves.
It can be assumed that this may be a long-range stealth cruise missile adapted for use from the suspension units of tactical aviation or even from the internal compartments of the Su-57.
The novelty resembles the American low-observable cruise missile AGM-158 JASSM. There are no known details about the new weapon at the moment.
