The "Kalugaputmash" plant has manufactured a modernized tracklaying crane UK 25/25. This special equipment is used in the construction of railway tracks. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Sinara-Transport Machines".
The UK 25/25 was sent to the Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant in the Kursk region (city of Zheleznogorsk).
Productivity up to 850 m/h, lays track sections 25 m long and weighing 25 tons! A closed operator's cab, a remote radio control panel, and a video surveillance system provide a wide view, increasing the safety and accuracy of operations.
The developers used innovative automatic traverses in the UK 25/25, and also provided a remote control function. Thanks to this, the tracklaying crane itself grabs the rail-sleeper grid.
