Drone-fire: Newest Incendiary Ammunition Developed for Strike UAVs

Temperature up to 2,000 Degrees is Created Upon Activation

Powerful incendiary ammunition for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been developed in Russia. The projectiles ignite after being dropped on a fortified object and guarantee its destruction.

When triggered, a temperature of up to 2,000 degrees is created, which makes it possible to reliably destroy the enemy by setting fire to shelters and basements of houses. The novelty will greatly simplify the assault operations of the advancing troops.

Such ammunition can also be used against heavy equipment — a successful hit can cause detonation of ammunition.

The high-temperature ammunition is capable of burning through aluminum armor, which is now widely used, leaving a deep crater in a brick or concrete surface. The temperature rises sharply behind the barrier that it burns through.
