Новейший самолет Ил-96-400Т с удлиненным фюзеляжем поднялся в воздух

The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 92 tons of cargo over a distance of 5,000 km

Sky Gates transport airline (part of Red Wings) has completed its first flight under the new long-haul cargo program on the second Il-96-400T aircraft received from the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) at the end of March this year. This was reported in the press service of the parent airline Red Wings.

  Il-96-400T

Il-96-400T is a specialized cargo modification of the Il-96-400 aircraft. Its long flight range, lack of windows, extended fuselage, and wide side door make it an ideal aircraft for solving transportation tasks. The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 92 tons of cargo over a distance of 5,000 km, and with a load of 40 tons, up to 11,550 km.

The advantage of the Il-96-400T aircraft over foreign analogues, such as the B747 transport version, is that the aircraft is of Russian production, does not have dual registration, and can be used on routes and in countries that have not imposed sanctions against Russian aviation.

The Sky Gates fleet consists of two Il-96-400T aircraft and one Il-76TD. It is planned that the cargo fleet will continue to expand in the future with domestically produced aircraft.
