Flies up to 300 km: Kutkh fixed-wing drones developed in Chukotka

UAV speed — up to 80 km/h

The Kutkh fixed-wing drone was created at the Chukotka District Specialized Lyceum.

Drone "Kutkh"

All drone parts were printed on a 3-D printer, and the engines and electronics were purchased from third-party manufacturers.

In robotics classes with students of physics and mathematics, they began to manufacture three Kutkh fixed-wing UAVs on a 3-D printer. This model is more advanced, so it took two months to complete.
Georgy Kosov, pedagogue

A team of students, together with a teacher, developed and assembled an aircraft flap control system, and also learned how to configure a flight controller and other electronic devices in a specialized center. Next week, three UAVs will go to a pilot training center.

The Kutkh drone can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h and lift a load of 2 to 3 kg. The flight range is up to 300 km.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Vzhik multi-rotor vertical take-off UAV for delivering goods to remote areas was created in Russia.
