Volgograd Machine-Building Company "VgTZ", a Russian manufacturer of the "Sprut" self-propelled anti-tank gun and the "Rakushka" airborne combat vehicle, must pay 673 million rubles in rent for the use of production buildings and workshops that it historically occupied.
The rent debt has been accumulating since 2010, and by 2024 it had reached 488 million rubles. After 14 years of non-payment, the management company filed a lawsuit in court.
The Arbitration Court of the Volgograd Region ruled on April 7 that Volgograd Machine-Building Company "VgTZ" LLC must not only fully repay the rent, but also pay a fine, the total amount to be recovered is 673 million rubles.
The nuance is that the enterprise occupied the premises for which rent and a fine were charged for a little less than a hundred years, and only recently, after reorganization, it became a tenant in its once own workshops.
After reorganization in 2002, Volgograd Machine-Building Company "VgTZ" established the production of vehicles, the most famous of which are the "Sprut" self-propelled anti-tank gun and the "Rakushka" multipurpose airborne armored personnel carrier.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will invest almost 6 billion rubles in the modernization of Ansat and Mi-38 helicopters.
