Авиаэксперт оценил, сколько МС-21 получат авиакомпании в 2026 году

Irkutsk Aviation Plant Begins Assembling the 27th Aircraft

The Irkutsk Aviation Plant will be ready to deliver approximately 20 aircraft to customers next year. This forecast was made by aviation industry analyst Roman Gusarov.

МС-21

In his opinion, it is entirely realistic to complete the import substitution program for the MC-21 in 2025.

It is clear that it is still necessary to establish mass production of these components at enterprises. The work is extensive, but quite feasible, the only question is the timing. Therefore, I think that everything is now shaping up so that the MC-21 will be fully certified this year.

According to Gusarov, the plant in Irkutsk currently has almost 13 serial aircraft ready, but they have not yet been transferred to domestic airlines because they are not equipped with systems and components that have passed the necessary tests.

As soon as the units receive documentation on compliance with safety requirements, they will be installed on the assembled aircraft.

I think that by the beginning of next year, about 20 aircraft will be ready for transfer to carriers. The transfer will not happen in one day; airlines will receive the MC-21 as they are retrofitted.

The MC-21 is a new generation medium-range passenger aircraft with a capacity of 163 to 211 passengers. The aircraft is assembled at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The first flight took place on May 28, 2017, and on December 15, 2020, the aircraft made its first flight with the Russian PD-14 engine.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that ODK Transferred Additional PD-8 Engines for Superjet Certification.
