The «Krasnaya Kuznitsa» Shipyard (a branch of the «Zvezdochka» Ship Repair Center) will receive a new floating dock of project 28140С. This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
It is planned that the new floating structure of project 28140С will replace the oldest dock of the Arkhangelsk enterprise built in 1953.
Characteristics of the dock of project 28140С: lifting capacity — 5 thousand tons, 4 cranes, length — 158 m, width — 36.8 m, height of бортом — 13.3 m.
Having received a new dock, the shipbuilders of «Krasnaya Kuznitsa» will be able to increase the number of dock repairs of ships and vessels.
