Roskomnadzor has sent Telegram a request to remove two prohibited sets of stickers.
It is noted that the agency added these internet pages to the Unified Register of Prohibited Information based on a court decision and sent a notification to the hosting and internet resource owner about the need to remove the content.
Earlier, the Zuevsky District Court of the Kirov Region recognized two sets of stickers with Nazi images in the Telegram messenger as prohibited for distribution. In this regard, Roskomnadzor demanded their removal.
Telegram has already been fined for violating content blocking rules. The Tagansky Court of Moscow imposed an administrative fine of 3.5 million rubles on the messenger at the end of February.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian courts had blocked 33 sticker packs with extremist symbols in Telegram.
